Obama: Have You Heard this Again, Again, & Again?

Moving Republican Agenda at Breakneck Speed

It's sad how the establishment GOP has snubbed a man, a fellow conservative who started a Republican Revolution in the 1990s. A man who orchestrated the Contract with America, and helped create an environment where over 11 million jobs were created and the unemployment rate was below 5 percent. He was a hard-working man of ideas and action, as well as a conservative leader who was able to work with a Democrat president. During his tenure as Speaker of the House, he pushed for a plan to reduce federal spending with a 7 year goal of a balanced budget. Critics claimed it was impossible. But, in only 4 years, the monumental task was complete. For the first time in over 40 years, America not only had a balanced budget, but also a 60 billion dollar surplus. A balanced budget has not been achieved since, nor is it likely the nation will reach one in the coming decades. If any politician in the congress or senate was able to accomplish that today, they would be praised as admired, not just by their party, but by the entire nation.

The current president, congress, and senate have, quite frankly, continue to bankrupt the nation with excessive and wasteful spending. They have neither the courage, energy, vision, intellect, nor political will to even comprehend today's financial fiasco. Furthermore, they refuse to recognize his accomplishments and embrace his leadership once again. He is the man who pushed the "Republican agenda at breakneck speed" and that man, that leader, is Newt Gingrich.
