Fishing for RINOs

Now that the liberal media machine thinks it has a possible opponent on the GOP horizon, they have begun baiting the waters of the electorate. This phase began about a day ago with the Washington Post's article, "Will Mormons' racial history be a problem for Mitt Romney" and the Salt Lake Tribune's report,  Mormonism's racial history may hurt Romney." Both are a subtle way of informing Americans about the not-so-distant past of the Mormon Church.

Within the last few hours, USA Today parroted the Washington Post's question, "Will Mormons' racial history be a problem for Mitt Romney?" All three journalistic endeavors are no doubt aimed at the Mormon Church's ban on African Americans serving as priests in the church until 1978.

What are these news reports angling for in the public pond of opinion? A small  ripple on the surface, a little nibble on their political bait, or just enough of a bite to hook Romney and reel in another RINO to mount on their political wall.

The tactic worked before on Romney's father George, who ran for president in 1968, during a more racially charged time in America. The question is, will  history repeat itself? And if so, what will 4 more years of the Obama administration mean for America?
